An Idyllic Park Life… with Sage 200 Cloud at Countrywide Park Homes

Nottingham based Countrywide Park Homes is a successful and growing Residential and Luxury Lodge Park operator with over 25 years of experience in the industry.

Over these years, the business has acquired more than 20 scenic park locations across the UK, all of which have been developed and fastidiously maintained to make them the ideal place for either new homes or holiday retreats. All Countrywide Park Homes are tailor-made – fully furnished and equipped with everything needed to enjoy a new lifestyle in an idyllic rural location.

“Each park location is a separate limited company and we have lots of intercompany transactions. Sage 200 Cloud makes things a lot easier and allows us to consolidate one set of accounts across all our parks.”

This successful formula is enabling the business to grow, and more park locations are planned so to support this expansion, the Countrywide team set about streamlining its business processing systems with a new Sage 200 Cloud solution from leading Sage Business Partner, Wharncliffe Business Systems.

Dan Brownhill, an accountant at Countrywide Park Homes explains. “Each park location is a separate limited company and we have lots of intercompany transactions. Sage 200 Cloud makes things a lot easier and allows us to consolidate one set of accounts across all our parks.”

Having previously worked with Wharncliffe on other successful Sage 200 projects, Dan was confident in Wharncliffe’s track record and that the optimum business solution was being proposed for Countrywide Park Homes.

“Panintelligence BI was a big selling point because Wharncliffe demonstrated how effective, real-time web-based management information will enhance our reporting requirements,” he continues.

“Wharncliffe took the time to understand our business processing requirements and then presented a solution which ticked all our boxes…”

Countrywide Park Homes are also set to benefit from electronic document management so that supplier invoices are scanned and automatically archived against supplier accounts. This will reduce time-consuming manual administration and eliminate the risk of losing or misfiling documents. Dan is also impressed with Sage 200 Cloud’s ‘better usability’ in uploading supplier payments to their bank in batches.

“Wharncliffe took the time to understand our business processing requirements and then presented a solution which ticked all our boxes. We are confident that the new Sage 200 Cloud solution will streamline all current and future business process management needs at Countrywide Park Home,” he concludes.
