Sage 200 and Wharncliffe are up to the Challenge… at Challenger Mobile Communications Ltd

‘We had looked at other potential Sage 200 suppliers but we felt an immediate affinity with Wharncliffe because they share the same values of integrity, transparency and respect as we do,’ says Jeff Eamens, MD at Challenger Mobile Communications Ltd.

Established in 1991, Deeside based Challenger has won many awards for business to business digital excellence and customer service and is recognised as one of the UK’s largest suppliers to O2. Challenger customers are provided with innovative and responsive communications solutions, taking advantage of world-leading technologies including mobile phones and data services, landline and VOIP systems, fixed broadband solutions, asset and vehicle tracking systems and hosted cloud services.

‘We had looked at other potential Sage 200 suppliers but we felt an immediate affinity with Wharncliffe because they share the same values of integrity, transparency and respect as we do,’

Jeff continues. “We struck a chord with the Wharncliffe team because they understood our immediate and longer-term business requirements, they talked the same language and they were able to demonstrate the optimum solution.”

Consequently, the business is set to implement a Microsoft Cloud based Sage 200 solution comprising financials, commercials and Sage CRM which will replace several legacy accounts and database systems which have already helped manage 25 years of growth. However, Sage 200 will automate and streamline all key business areas such as order processing, stock management and direct debit payment processing.

“We struck a chord with the Wharncliffe team because they understood our immediate and longer-term business requirements, they talked the same language and they were able to demonstrate the optimum solution.”

Importantly, Sage 200 and Sage CRM will also provide the platform to support further business growth for Challenger’s Licensed Business Partners who will be using a proven and successful business model. This will provide the platform to record communications against business opportunities as well as handling customer services, sales and marketing activities.

Alan Exley. MD at Barnsley based Wharncliffe concludes. ‘We are delighted that Jeff, Wayne and the Challenger Communications team immediately appreciated the Wharncliffe business ethos and the potential the Sage 200 Suite offers theirs. We are looking forward to a successful implementation and to helping CMC deliver their next 25 years of growth!’
