World Password Day is an annual event that takes place around the world on the first Thursday of May every year and serves to raise awareness for the importance of strong passwords and best practices, to keep your accounts safe and secure online. World password day is supported by hundreds of organisations, including the National Cyber Security Alliance, Intel, Microsoft and more…

70% of consumers lack confidence that passwords can adequately protect their accounts. One of the biggest problems is password reuse, as 73% of online accounts use duplicated passwords.

According to TeleSign’s Customer Account Security Report, 70% of consumers lack confidence that passwords can adequately protect their accounts. One of the biggest problems is password reuse, as 73% of online accounts use duplicated passwords, which can lead to a “domino effect,” which puts all of your accounts at risk after just one breach.
