What’s New in the Sage 200 Standard 2020 R1 Release?

This release comes with some great new features to support a customers’ sales process. Check out our What’s New Datasheet for a full description, and below is a taster of the new features and functionality available, including.

  • The ability to create, amend, and view a new quotes and sales orders, including adding an expiry date
  • The ability to print and email both quotes and sales orders
  • A new memo tab to capture relevant information and tasks against a new or existing Sales Order
  • Plus, customers can now customise their view when working on web screens, to improve productivity

As always, with the introduction of these new web screen features comes enhancements to the API, offering greater scope to a wider ecosystem of applications. This gives customers more choice and you the ability to build a customised solution to meet your customers’ needs. You can find out more using the API helpfiles.

In this release, we’ve also made several maintenance updates including changes to platform support, updates for cloud connected features and, the retirement of XML VAT submission functionality, along with confirmation of the retirement of Sage CRM integrated support.

Also of note is the introduction of Multifactor Authentication (MFA). Customers can now implement MFA to improve login security and protect themselves from potential fraudulent sign-in attempts.
