Sage 200 2015 End of Support & Sage 200 2016 Extended Support Notification
Every year in Autumn, an older version of Sage 200 moves into ‘end of support’ status and another version enters a status of ‘extended support’.
This is detailed in Sage’s support policy and is standard industry practice for technology companies. In line with this:
Sage 200 2015 entered extended support on 1st October 2018 and this version will no longer be supported from 30th September 2019.
Sage 200 2016 enters extended support on 1st October 2019, with all support for this version ending on 30th September 2020.
Sage believe that using the latest software is the best way for us to help customers to run their business effectively, and by concentrating their resources on looking forward, they can help businesses move forward too.
Upgrading has never been easier, with extra facilities in Sage 200 to make these quicker and smoother, and the availability of Microsoft Azure Cloud* servers for testing where needed. New versions of Sage 200 are included in your annual Services fee, paid through us to Sage, so the only cost is the Assistance required from ourselves. Any bespoke can be updated, if needed, as part of the process, and we’ll also review any third-party integrated solutions we provide you to ensure these are also on the latest version and delivering the best value to your business.
*Microsoft Azure is now the most popular way for clients implementing new systems, or existing Sage 200 users replacing older servers, to run their Sage solutions – providing Cloud based servers which are paid on subscription based on usage, and giving a range of benefits, details of which can be found here.
